Our Belief

(And why this approach matters.)

A new era in Go-to-Market innovation has emerged and we believe transformational change is coming. We often hear the word innovation in reference to technology and product but don't often think of Go-to-Market strategy in the same light.

The last true innovation in Go-to-Market strategy was a move to real-time sales analytics, made possible by CRMs that emerged in the early 2000s.

This made way for Sales Operations and the broader GTM Strategy function to emerge, equipped with the technology that made this newfound approach possible.

Artificial Intelligence is what makes this next leap possible.

We will look back on even the most sophisticated Revenue Operations teams of the last decade as archaic in their approach. Defined by sales analytics and predictive insights that relied on historical trends and the accuracy of human input.

We haven’t even begun to see the impact Artificial Intelligence will ultimately have on Go-to-Market planning and execution but one thing is certain.

Transformational change is coming. It's going to be messy at the start. No designated 'owner' of AI Strategy within organizations will lead to individual teams doing their own thing.

Eventually, we will move to centralize AI Strategy within a single team responsible for setting the vision of how its adopted company-wide. GTM Strategy teams already serve as a centralizing body and is our frontrunner for the team that will inherit this opportunity.
